Description: This session will include a panel of experts from the National Council For Adoption (NCFA) and the Department of State’s Office of Children’s Issues. The session will discuss the current trends in international adoption, the requirements that have been set forth by the adoption authorities, and the outlook for the future of international adoption.
Learning Objectives:
1. Session attendees will be able to describe current trends in international adoption.
2. Session attendees will be able to describe the outlook for international adoption and how families can more easily adapt with post-adoption issues.
Intended Audience: Behavioral health professionals; adoptive parents
Intended Audience Level: This session is intended for beginner level professionals.
