Special Insight: China Center for Adoption Affairs Q&A

Session Description: This session will feature representatives from the China Center for Adoption Affairs, China’s adoption authority. The CCAA will share the current status of adoption in China, the types of children who are available, and describe Best Practices in adoption. This session will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions to the CCAA and the CCAA will have opportunity to answer.
Learning Objectives:
1. Session attendees will be able to describe the CCAA’s role in the China adoption process.
2. Session attendees will be able to list and describe the types of children currently available for adoption in regards to placing them within an appropriate family.
3. Session attendees will be able to describe Best Practices in China adoption.
Intended Audience: Behavioral health professionals; adoptive parents
Intended Audience Level: This session is intended for beginner to intermediate professionals.
